We wandered in here before checking out Stuff in Seattle, and were pleasantly surprised by this taqueria. The food was great; lots of rich flavors, good textures, and fun agua frescas. The service was very friendly and helped us navigate the menu.We definitely recommend starting off with the nachos, and the tacos we tried were can’t miss.

I don’t think I need to write much. They are just so good. I finished the plate in 7 minutes. No talking, messy fingers, and mouth vacume sound.I’ve not experienced a single Birria place good as this place. Customer service was absolurely fantastic for a small restaurant too.

In my humble opinion, Seattle's premier burria spot.I came here with a group of friends, and ordered the burria ramen and single quesaburria. The food came quickly, and the staff were very friendly.The quesaburria was exactly as I wanted, cheesy, filled with generous amounts of meat, and great overall. The burria ramen in particular intrigued me, and letting my curiosity get the better of me, I ordered it, and I am glad that I did! It came with a huge portion of burria topped over a super flavorful broth, and I was really surprised at how good the noodles were, and how the whole dish seemed to just fit,despite being a mesh of several cultural cuisines.I'll definitely be back here with friends!

I was so deeply satisfied with my experience at Birreria Pepe El Torro. I went with a few friends after a long day of walking around the UW campus, and we were starving , this place hit exactly what we were craving.From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was colorful, lively, and just really nice to be in. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which honestly made the experience even better. You could tell they genuinely cared about their customers.The food was absolutely delicious , rich, flavorful, and so filling. It scratched that craving perfectly, and the birria was everything I hoped it would be. 10/10, no question. And the strawberry hibiscus drink? Top tier. Super refreshing and the perfect complement to the meal.One thing that really shocked me (in the best way) was the women’s bathroom having pads available. That was so thoughtful and made me feel like they really pay attention to their guests’ needs.I actually live a little far from the restaurant, but I’d 100% be willing to commute just to eat their birria again. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to and recommending to everyone. 🔥
